Christina is passionate and purposeful about learning how to improve the quality of life for clients in multifaceted ways
through behavior analysis and best practices.
Christina is a national board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Montana and Texas.
She holds a master's in education from Loyola College in Maryland and a graduate certificate in Positive Behavior Support (PBS - a branch of ABA) from Northern Arizona University. She is working on her doctorate in educational leadership,
focused on special education.
As a BCBA, she holds extensive training and mentoring in ASD, verbal behavior or functional communication, age-appropriate skill development, ADHD, and ACT - is one of her favorite approaches, a behavior analytic approach to Acceptance and Commitment Training for adults and children, parent training, problem behaviors in schools or homes, assessments and treatment plans, classroom observations, data collection, in class or home modeling, teacher training and behavior plan fidelity support.
Christina also has specialized training and long-term mentoring experience working with adult and pediatric chronic pain clients and health coaching for fitness and weight loss (adults) using behavior analysis.
Doing what's best for clients from the heart, has been the reason for the success of her clients.
Background: Christina has over 20 years of experience as an educator (PreK-3rd grade) and a K-8 school principal in Arizona and Montana. Additionally, she has served as a professional development provider in active engagement strategies, literacy, positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), and served as an on-site instructional coach/mentor
in special and general education classes.
Her drive for excellence and research helped her become a laser-focused and highly successful school turnaround principal, a forward-thinking program designer and evaluator, an educational quality assurance and accreditation standards evaluator, a special education compliance and complaint investigator and advocate, and a school-based behavior interventionist. Finally, she was a lead instructional designer /writer for two nationally known and respected evidence-based early language and literacy curricula focused on students with speech and language issues, special education needs or literacy intervention needs.
Christina is a "doer" and a lifelong learner who strives to help clients solve problems, close gaps, and achieve their goals and dreams.
She has a positivity that permeates any environment.
